Jayaprabha Menon is an acclaimed artist of Mohiniyattam, an exquisite dance form of Southern India. Though she gained training in Bharatnatyam, Kuchipudi and Mohiniyattam, it was the latter form that lured her into the world of art. She has gained massive attention and fan following from art lovers through her performances and choreography at numerous national dance festivals. Today she extends her passion by engaging in an in-depth study of taala (ryhthm composition) differing across regions of Kerala.
