French Cassettes is a pop rock band from the Northern California town of Ripon. Packing indie pop tunes with sunny melodies and infectious rhythms, the four-piece outfit found a quick local following after relocation to San Francisco and releasing its debut EP, Summer Darling, in 2011. French Cassettes mastered its playful post-punk-tinged style on the live show circuit and eventually earned national attention with its first full-length LP, Gold Youth, in 2013.
