Exploring the ties and constraints between the technological and the analog, the country and the city, the urban and the natural, Birds and Batteries is a band, like its name suggests, of contrasts. Formed in San Francisco in 2007, the four piece creates experimental synth pop that teeters between glitchy electro and americana. After the band's debut album received acclaim on the blogosphere, it took off on a national tour and has found a diverse fan base.
