Blixa Bargeld is a German writer, actor, musician and artist who is probably best known for his studio and touring involvement with Einstürzende Neubauten as well as Nick Cave and the Bad Seeds. Forming the experimental rock band Einstürzende Neubauten in 1980, Bargeld made a name for himself with the group and his impressive work with the band subsequently led to collaborating with Nick Cave. Never one to dwell on boredom, Bargeld has managed to fall into nearly every avenue of artistic expression and become a modern renascence man of sorts.
