Formed in 1994 by Cory McAbee, a singer/electric autoharpist, New York based band The Billy Nayer Show traverses multiple genres, even bleeding into the world of film. Creating quirky rock that often is based around a conceptual film or radio show, the band finally decided to make these films more than conceptual and has released a couple live action films, which have received positive reviews at many independent film festivals, to go along with the albums. Part theatrics and part quality musicianship, the live performances of The Billy Nayer Show are not to be missed.
