DJ and producer Ghosts on Tape is the project of San Francisco based Ryan Philip Merry. Refusing to use any kind of laptop, Merry instead relies on analog mixers and vinyl to create lo-fi house meets glitchy tropicialia. A staple on the San Francisco indie electro scene, Ghosts on Tape plays there frequently and has recently began to spread his fan base outside of his home state.
