About
Born in France and classically trained at the Conservatoire de Paris, Patricia Petibon is a soprano who is known for her interpretations of classic French Baroque music. She quickly made a name for herself as Olympia in Offenbach's Les Contes d'Hoffman, a role she has played several times including her debut performance at the Vienna State Opera. As a solo artist, Petibon released her debut album Airs baroques Français, in 2002 and has steadily been releasing albums colored with the works of iconic composers such as Haydn, Mozart, Stradella and Handel.
