About
Trust, a hard rock ensemble from France established in 1977, rose to prominence in Europe during the early 1980s. Renowned for the formidable guitar work of Norbert "Nono" Krief and the unique vocal style of Bernard "Bernie" Bonvoisin, the band frequently addressed social and political themes in their lyrics. Among their significant tracks is "Antisocial," which critiques the dehumanizing aspects of contemporary life, and "Le Mitard," which focuses on issues related to juvenile delinquency. The band's lineup included drummers Nicko McBrain and Clive Burr, both of whom later gained fame with Iron Maiden. Following their disbandment in 1985, Trust reunited in the 2000s, releasing new music and embarking on tours. Throughout their career, Trust has built an extensive discography, featuring albums such as Répression (1980), Marche Ou Crève (1981), and more recent releases like Dans Le Même Sang (2018) and Propaganda (2022). The band continues to leave a lasting impact on the rock music landscape with their powerful sound and socially conscious lyrics.
