About
Agony Lords is a death metal band from Guanajuato, Mexico that was formed in 1989. The band dropped its debut album Unions, in 1994, but despite early success, it split up in 1999 just after releasing its third album Nihilist Passion. After reuniting in 2008 to support the reissue of its 1997 record, The Sun of the Cursed, the band was inspired by the reception to its return and decided to reform indefinitely. Agony Lords released its first studio album in over a decade, A Tomb for the Haunted, in 2012.
