After dropping the name Jackmate, Germany-based Electronic music producer Michael Baumann began creating music under the moniker Soulphication in 1998. With a brand of house music largely powered by soul and the EDM sounds of the 1990s, Soulphication takes his music beyond the clubs and into studios, where he's recorded over five full-length albums with labels like Sonar Kollektiv and Musik Krause.
