The Emperors of Wyoming

Despite its name, the folk rock band The Emperors of Wyoming hails from Wisconsin, where its four members met in the late 1970s. Though they went their separate ways over the next few decades and pursued often successful musical projects, Phil Davis, Butch Vig and brothers Pete and F. L. Anderson decided to band together and formed The Emperors of Wyoming. After spending little over a year in the studio, the band released its eponymous debut in 2012 packed full of alternative country/Americana-flavored rock and roll.
