Hacktivist is a hardcore English punk band that has received critical praise for its unbridled and oftentimes unhinged approach to aggressive song composition. Though the group released its self-titled debut EP in 2012, the band had already established itself to some degree amongst followers of unpretentious, bombastic rock music. Though the band's slightly bellicose style might not suit everyone's tastes, Hacktivist's sound has gone over well with connoisseurs of pugnacious, punk-influenced material.
