About
Originally formed in Korpilombolo, Sweden, Goat is an experimental band composed of three core members who have been creating music together since they were children. With a history of voodoo worship in its small hometown, the band owns a mysterious, off-kilter sound of psychedelic, experimental and alternative elements. After signing a deal with UK-based label Rocket Recordings in 1998, Goat released its debut single "Goatman," in 2012 and quickly got to work recording its full-length debut, World Music. On its subsequent tours, Goat earned international attention with its manic stage performances, complete with masked personas and black magic energy.
