Tobias Sammet is a German musician who is probably best known as the singer/songwriter of the popular European rock act EDGUY. Starting his own project in 1999 with the progressive rock band Avantasia, as a studio experiment, Sammet grew the idea into a multi-national touring outfit after the boisterous reception his music from the public. With a symphonic rock style that has won over listeners, Avantasia has grown into a touring powerhouse, that blends theatrics, pyrotechnics and music into one cohesive stage show.
