With a refreshingly modern sound, Copenhagen, Denmark-based four-piece indie rock troupe The Blue Van has been turning heads in the European music community since it formed in 2008. In a reaction against the lo-fi, garage rock sound that has exploded within the musical zeitgeist of the band's peers, The Blue Van has developed its sound with astute production, crisp instrumental recording techniques and defined rhythm accompaniments--in addition to polished singing. Penning songs with huge choruses and memorable hooks, the quartet has spread its musical gospel across the Northern European region and next hopes to conquer the North American listening public.
