Upon first listen to the French electro duo Acid Washed, keen listeners will be able to clearly detect the group's influences. However, because there are so many layers in the music Acid Washed creates, there is hardly a time in the act's songs when there is unnecessary idol worship. By using analog equipment and pairing it with sharp electronic production, the duo creates an interesting style of music that blends 1990s French house paired with DFA-esque disco grooves. Though the group is looked at as somewhat of an underground sensation, with more time the group will hopefully grow into one of the more prominent electronic acts of the 21st century.
