Chris Leo was born in New Jersey. While this could seem like an immediate disadvantage, Leo somehow managed to find beauty in the Northeast megalopolis and charm in the Garden State's inner sanctions of urban sprawl. In 2004, Leo started recording modern singer/songwriter tunes under the Vague Angels guise and his characteristic style of folksy soft rock has managed to resonate quite well those who are able to find beauty in homely things.
