Dísa, the pseudonym of Bryndís Jakobsdóttir, is an Icelandic pop singer based out of Reykjavík. Combining elements of chamber pop, ambient electronics and layered English vocals, Dísa sounds more like the front woman of a British trip-hop outfit than a popular musician based out of Iceland, but nonetheless, the young singer has found a huge market in her home country and since the release of her highly acclaimed first album, has toured throughout Europe.
