Atlanta-based artist Shannon Wright is a singer/songwriter and musician who creates indie folk rock. After relocating from her home in North Carolina to Georgia, she dropped her debut record Flight Safety, with Touch and Go records in 1999 and quickly earned critical acclaim for her lyrics, melodies and stripped down compositions. With each subsequent release, her music took on new life, from her darker 2000 effort Maps of Tacit, to the electronic-acoustic fusion of 2009's Honeybee Girls. Wright released her eleventh studio album In Film Sound, in 2013.
