It's almost startling how pop-centric the Springfield, Missouri-based band Someone Still Loves You Boris Yeltsin is. With jangly guitar riffs, sunny vocals and simple drumming, the group, founded in 1999, is the epitome of an actual band that chooses to play pop music, not because they're trying to go mainstream and sell records (well, possibly) but because it's the natural style of music that's created when all four members of the band converge and play together.
