Formed in 2007, the Chicago duo White Car makes a characteristically throwback style of electro-goth that begs to be compared to the genre's innovators like Bauhaus and The Sisters of Mercy. With hard hitting rhythms, daunting vocals and electronically charged synth lines, White Car has managed to become one of the few young bands on the circuit today that's willing to indulge in its darker side to create an interesting style of music that's fairly easy for a wide variety of people to listen to.
