German producer/DJ Malente takes his name from the small town in Northern Germany that he was born and raised in. While he is primarily categorized as a house DJ, Malente also incorporates elements of disco and tropicalia into his tracks, making for music that is always sunny, upbeat, and impossible not to dance to. Beginning his DJ career in 2000, Malente has slowly grown to be one of the biggest names on the German club scene and has collaborated with the likes of Bonde de Role, Armand Van Helden and Dada Life.
