About
The Swedish doom metal band Witchcraft was founded in 2000 as a means to record a tribute album to Pentagram's Bobby Liebling and psychedelic rock pioneer Roky Erickson. After the recording sessions, the members decided to carry on and create their own characteristic staple of stoner rock-influenced doom metal. Recording its first album of original material and releasing it in 2004, Witchcraft has grown into a staple of the Scandinavian drone metal scene that's known for its instrumental dexterity and refined production approach.
