Forged in Umeå, Sweden in 2000 by four friends, Dexter Jones Circus Orchestra quickly began developing its sound by playing many local venues. In 2003, the band had a debut 7" ready and its release went over well in stoner rock circles throughout Europe. With its fuzz-drenched alt-rock style, the band grabbed the attention of cult band Hypnos 69, who asked Dexter Jones Circus Orchestra to appear as opener for its tour. After returning from tour, the band released its debut full length, which was dubbed by many European rock magazines as the album of the year. Since then, Dexter Jones Circus Orchestra has continued to tour and build a fan base worldwide.
