About
Based in Boston via Austin, TX Silkies is a two-piece band composed of drummer Caufield Schnug and gjuitarist Mira Mondal. Together the duo creates garage rock infused with pop girl group vocals and plenty of lo-fi fuzz. Silkies released its debut EP Like One, in 2012, exposing its minimal but frenetic rock and roll sound.
