Black Bug

Swedish trio The Black Bug began making heavy-hitting, synth-drenched dance punk in 2005 and since then have released several 7" singles, all of which sold out almost immediately, eventually leading up to a full length that quickly gained popularity on the underground indie-dance scene. With front woman Lily's riot girrrl vocals layered over short bursts of icy, pop instrumentals, the band succeeds in creating music that's gloomy, rebellious and infectious.
