Los Angeles glam-metal band Pretty Boy Floyd takes its name from the appellation of the legendary 1930s bank robber. Formed in 1987, the band gained fame from its debut album Leather Boyz with Electric Toyz, but failed to find much success following this release. The band broke up, but reformed in 1995 and continues to tour and release albums today. While the band is often, and appropriately, called a direct replica of popular band Poison, both in appearance and music, it does have a fervent group of fans that eagerly await the band to tour through their town.
