About
Skip & Die is the collaborative project of South African artist Catarina Aimee Dahms, also known as Cata.Pirata, and Dutch producer Jori Collignon. While the outfit emerged as a duo in the late 2000s, it soon evolved into a full-fledged band with an electroclash sound. After harnessing elements of bass music, rap and afrobeat into one cohesive whole, Skip & Die dropped its debut LP, Roots in the Jungle, with Crammed Discs in 2013.
