Younger Brother

About

Taking its name from the Kogi philosophy, which deems all Westerners the "younger brothers," duo, Simon Posford and Benji Vaughan, who are both respected UK producers and DJs in their own right, formed the band Younger Brother in 2003. Originally considering themselves electronica purists, the two eventually moved toward world-influenced instrumentals and stripped down their sound significantly before adding a third member, Ru Campbell, to the band. Over the years, the band has slowly accumulated more members and musicians that collaborate with the band from time to time, thus broadening Younger Brother's range of musical influences and developing its sound.
