About
Kyteman, or Colin Benders, is a Dutch trumpeter, hip hop artist and founder of the Kyteman Orchestra project. After recruiting eighteen opera singers, musicians and a choir, he formed the ensemble, which quickly established itself with energetic live performances and blend of hip-hop, jazz and electro music. The Kyteman Orchestra released the album The Hermit Sessions, in 2009, offering a distinctive reflection of hip hop that pushes the genres' boundaries.
