Best known as the guitarist and keyboardist of the indie rock band Wintersleep, Jon Samuel is a singer/songwriter and musician from Canada. After recording his first solo album, 2012's First Transmission, with the help of his fellow Wintersleep band mates Tim D'Eon and Loel Campbell as well as guest vocalist Erin Passmore of Rah Rah, Samuel attracted a local audience in Nova Scotia with his definitive voice. Raspy and snappy at the same time, his vocals serve as the foundation for his music.
