London four-piece, The Collectable Few met at a pub in 2007 and began making music together immediately after. Capitalizing on the popular indie britpop sound, the three UK boys and one US expat began making new-wave tinged indie pop that they claim is intentionally light versus the moody lyricism of most standard rock bands. While The Collectable Few hardly produce anything groundbreaking, its music is an enjoyable listen.
