Dana Falconberry

Austin, Texas-based artist Dana Falconberry is a singer/songwriter and musician who owns a pop-infused indie folk sound. After relocating to Austin from her Michigan home, she self-released her debut solo EP Paper Sailboat, with a minimal acoustic sound. Determined to push her songwriting craft, she experimented with more electric textures and harmonies on her subsequent records, and eventually assembled a six-piece band for her 2012 studio album, Leelanau. Painted with more complex ideas than her usual themes of love and love-lost, the records offers more substance both sonically and emotionally.
