Aaron Funk, who performs and releases music under his Venetian Snares guise, is an electronic musician from Winnipeg, Canada who began his career self releasing cassette tapes in the early 1990s. Blending a number of varied styles including breakcore, glitch and ambient, Venetian Snares oftentimes builds his tracks around unusual time signatures that provide a distinctive lurching quality to the music.
