Experimental folktronica six-piece, Tunng, was founded in 2003 by Sam Genders and Mike Lindsey, who began their musical career by composing scores for soft-core pornographic films. Adding the little sister of musician Max Tundra to the lineup, as well as a few friends, the UK band began work on its first album, followed by a tour supporting popular band Doves. Known for its use of strange instruments, including seashells and toys, the band gained a solid following and has since been featured in numerous commercials and television shows.
