Nicole Brenny decided to start making music from scratch and self-learned four different recording methods in only a few months time. She adopted the moniker Vague-à-bonde and began recording her debut album while traveling around North America, splitting her time between couch surfing and isolating herself in a cabin somewhere up North. She settled in Minneapolis in 2012 and released her album, Involution/Evolution, an record inspired by the feeling of traveling through American and Canadian landscapes completely alone.
