Los Angeles based husband-wife duo The Weepies met in Massachusetts in 2001 and have been making subtle folk-pop together ever since. Though The Weepies may not be a household name, due to its numerous appearances on mainstream programming, it's almost a guarantee that you've heard a song or two by the duo. While the two started as an indie act, The Weepies quickly entered the Billboard Top 200 charts and have been featured on countless commercials, including a national presidential campaign ad for Barack Obama, television shows, and films.
