Grouplove

After two artists with musical leanings decided to partake in a summer art residency on the island of Crete in Greece, they ended up meeting a few like minded individuals and banded together to form a project called Grouplove in 2009. With an accessible indie soft rock sound, the band was immediately recognized as one of the best up and coming bands after playing a couple of shows back in Los Angeles. Although nearly all the members of Grouplove come from different corners of the globe, the collective's sonic energy and effortless chemistry resulted in its acclaimed debut album Never Trust A Happy Song. Released in 2011, the record put Grouplove on the independent music map and brought the band across North America, Europe and Australia on an extended tour.
