New York City-based outfit The Blackfires is a hard rock band that emerged in 2012 from the city's underground music scene. Shortly after its formation, the band released its first single "Grapeshot," as well as a live, five-track EP titled Live at the Cutting Room. The Blackfires has since been attracting attention and anticipation for a full-length LP with its raucous live shows.
