New York-based Brit Jamie Lidell began his career in 1997 and with a good deal of time and effort, has been steadily winning over audiences on both sides of the pond ever since. Known for his diverse inclusion of genres and one-man-band tactics that involve him looping and layering his voice, percussion and melody in live performances, Lidell consistently puts on an intricate and entertaining show. Drawing on soul, funk and experimental rock, Lidell creates enjoyable and complex electronica.
