You Knew Me When is a project by the Nashville husband/wife duo, Cie & Karisa Hoover. They make quite an interesting combination, Karisa’s creativity leans completely toward the folksy side, while Cie used to play rock music as long as he can remember. This overlap of styles has allowed them to create music which stands out. Although it consists of only two members, Karisa ability to operate as many as five different instruments more than makes up for shortcomings of any kind. Their music is laidback and uplifting, the lyrics are very poetic and are often written with the purpose of making listeners embrace simpler things in life. The songs “This World A Box” and "Waste of Time" are the perfect examples of what the band is capable of creating.
