Formed by brothers David and Peter Brewis in 2004, Field Music is an indie rock band from the UK with an affinity for experimental chamber pop. With members involved in The Futureheads and Maximo Park, the band has gone on several hiatuses, insisting that Field Music is an important project for band members, but not their sole existence. Field Music released its self-titled debut album in 2005, followed by Tones Of Town, in 2007. The band's sophomore effort demonstrated a slight departure from its initial indie music into more experimental art rock.
