Gideon is a metalcore band from Tuscaloosa, AL that was formed in 2008 by vocalist Daniel McWhorter, guitarist Daniel McCartney, bassist Timmy Naugher and drummer Jake Smelley. The band released its debut album Costs, in 2011, exposing its aggressive yet melodic hardcore sound fused seamlessly with Christian themes.
