Former Champions is a band from Richmond, Virginia that specializes in playing music that pulls equally from the depths electronic and rock. Formed in 2008, Former Champions have become a fairly recognizable feature of the East Coast jamtronica scene--even managing to be compared to well-known acts like The Disco Biscuits and Lotus. With impressive rhythmic syncopation, adept instrumental noodling and songs that beg to be danced to, Former Champions has had an easy time building up a solid fan base that'll no doubt continue to grow as the band continues to tour and release provocative studio material.
