Formed in 1996, Cultura Profética is a reggae outfit that blends various flavors into its roots foundation. Twelve members deep, the group weaves prominent elements of salsa and afro-Caribbean music into its sound while also employing subtle layers of pop, electronica, ska and hip hop. Based in Puerto Rico, Cultura Profética has earned an international following through its ardent touring schedule and accessible, pop-infused brand of world music.
