Swedish multi-instrumentalist Filip Jers has mastered many unusual instruments, including the accordion, jew's harp and mandolin, but he is a true virtuoso with the harmonica. Playing diatonic, chromatic and bass harmonica, Jers firmly established himself as a talent to be watched after winning first place in The World Harmonica Championships in 2005. Generally playing jazz and occasionally folk, Jers has three bands he started and continues to play in, Filip Jers Kvartett, Stockholm Lisboa Project and Primus Motor. Jers tours with his various bands while completing his masters in jazz at the Royal Academy of Music in Sweden.
