Having found a balance between classical instrumentation and the classic rock and roll tools, Young Runaways creates a brand of alternative pop/rock music with sugary sweet tones. With an instrument repertoire of a violin, trumpet, trombone, keyboard, electric guitar, drum and bass, the band has the equipment as well as the sensibility to create both chamber pop and alternative rock music. Young Runaways 2011 debut album The Boy & The Beartrap, self-produced and mastered by Frank Arkwright, the man who helped make Arcade Fire and The Smiths household names, is an effort packed with indie gold.
