Sherik's Bandalabra

Pioneer of a style of music dubbed saxophonics, Skerik is a tenor and baritone saxophonist from Seattle who fronts the project Skerik's Bandalabra. Joined by guitarist Andy Coe, upright bassist Evan Flory Barnes and drummer Dvonne Lewis, Skerik plays his signature style of music with his saxophone and looping techniques for a livetronica/modern jazz sound. Skerik's Bandalabra recorded its first ever live show and ended up with over 60 minutes worth of afrobeat rhythms, psychedelic beats and improvisation that was eventually made into its debut album, Live At The Royal Room.
