About
James Brooks is the mastermind behind Land Observations, the minimalist instrumental project that debuted in 2011. Since the dissolution of his former band Appliance, Brooks has combined his music with visual art in exhibitions held around Europe and North America. Land Observations is the result of his conceptual audio/visual approach and explores the power of minimalism with layered electric guitar. The one-man band released its debut album Roman Roads IV-XI, in 2012.
