With a lineup that fluctuates between 11 and 13 members, Bayonics is a hip-hop ensemble from the San Francisco Bay Area. Based in the Mission District of San Francisco, the band combines a diverse set of influences from folklore to Latin to urban music in one colorful package for a hip-hop/salsa/reggae sound. Bayonics released its eponymous album in 2007, exposing its multi-genre music to a broader audience with live instrumentation, funky beats and a hip-hop sensibility.
